Important Information:

  • Schedule subject to change without notice. Check website or call the studio for the most up to date information.
  • All regularly scheduled mat and reformer classes are 1 hour.
  • All mat classes are ongoing; you may begin at anytime - just show up.
  • **All Reformer and Spine Corrector classes require pre-registration.
  • Saturday Advanced Spine Corrector Class is 1.5 hours ($18)
  • Instructor permission is required before you can begin reformer classes. The Beginner's Reformer Package or a private session is a prerequisite for an understanding of reformer use and for your safety.
  • Cancellation policy of 24 hour notice applies to all classes and workshops requiring pre-registration.

Class Descriptions
 
MAT CLASSES
 
Pilates Mat Class Level 1
Level 1 classes are an excellent class for those who have completed an intro series and like a slower paced class, returning students who need reminders of basics and haven’t exercised recently or fit students who pick-up concepts easily yet have no Pilates experience.
Pilates Mat Level 1 - 2
Level 1 - 2 classes focus on reinforcing Pilates fundamentals and building a progressive repertoire of increasingly challenging exercises. These classes also introduce rings, rollers and core bands.
 
Pilates Mat Level 2 and 2-3
Level 2 and 2-3 classes move at a quicker pace than level 1-2 classes, yet reinforce Pilates fundamentals, build stamina, endurance and challenge the mind body connection.
Pilates Mat Level 4
Our most advanced mat class, Level 4 offers a quick-paced, intense, challenging workout and break down of advanced Pilates repertoire. Level 4 also includes more upper body strengthening, coordination and balance work. It is ideal for the experienced practitioner.
 
The Good Posture Mat Workout
This ongoing multilevel workout focuses on targeting muscle groups that need to be stretched and strengthened to allow good posture, making this class safe for most people with back and neck issues. (See instructor with questions.)
 
REFORMER
Beginning Reformer Workout
This class is designed as a workout for the practitioner with an understanding of Pilates basics and would like a Pilates apparatus experience. Class size limited to 6. Must make a reservation.
 
Continuing Reformer Workout
This class is designed for the experienced practitioner with an understanding of Pilates reformer basics, who is ready for a more challenging workout. Class size limited to 6. Must make a reservation.
 
Allegro Flow Reformer
A continued reformer workout set to music. For the experienced practitioner. Class size limited to 6. Must make a reservation.
 
Spine Corrector
With Roxanna Cohen, Thursdays 4:00 pm. This intermediate level class takes your understanding of Pilates to a new level, applying traditional mat exercises to this unique piece of Pilates apparatus as well as integrating exercises unique to the spine corrector. Based on the work of Pilates elder Ron Fletcher using the small barrel also known as the spine corrector. Pilates experience or teacher approval recommended. Class size limited. Please pre-register. $15.00 Drop in. $48.00 for series of four.

 

 
NEW CLASSES
 
Butts and Gutts
We know that Pilates is a full body workout... but it never hurts to emphasize the lower half! Pilates experience recommended.
 
Pilates Basics
This class series teaches the fundamental principals of Pilates to prepare you for other Pilates work. Class meets 1 or 2 times per week (your choice).

Mixed Level Mat with Toys

Multi level Pilates mat class using rings, rollers and bands. A full body workout simple enough for
newer students yet challenging for the seasoned practioner.
 
Classical Pilates Mat
A beginner to intermediate version of the original 34 exercise series designed by Joseph Pilates.
 
Pilates Mat Challenge
An intermediate to advanced level mat class for the experienced practitioner that moves at a brisk pace,
yet is safe, with various levels of challenge given. Includes upper body strengthening, coordination
