New to Pilates?
Pilates can be done “on the mat” or with specialized
equipment. It can be done in a group setting, on an individual
basis, or with a friend (known as a duet). The choice is up
to you. Several factors will affect your Pilates experience:
· Do you like to exercise best on an individual basis
or in a group setting?
· Do you have injuries or issues best addressed on an
individual basis or by a physical therapist?
· Are you new to mind-body exercise or do you have previous
experience with yoga, martial arts or dance?
· What are your fitness goals?
· What is your budget?

Mat Classes are ongoing and can be started at anytime. We
recommend:
· The Beginner’s Mat Package
This package includes two private
one hour sessions with one of our qualified instructors and
four mat classes of your choice. This is a great way to start
Pilates at any time. Learn vocabulary, build a foundation of
Pilates skills and let our staff get to know you.
All
Reformer Classes require a reservation and instructor permission.
We recommend:
· The Beginner’s Reformer Package
This package includes two private
one hour sessions with one of our qualified instructors and
two reformer (equipment) classes. This is designed for the individual
with a background of Pilates principles who is ready for a group
reformer experience. Learn the ins and outs of working with
the reformer and receive specific instructions customized for
you. Learn the best way for you to get what you need from a
group equipment class.
